I like drawing skulls, OK?
This Wednesday’s actual work-in-progress: I’m taking a class about rock poster design and the project I’m working on is for an upcoming BRMC gig at the Fillmore. This is a super-duper rough draft of the design, which is referencing BRMC’s upcoming album, Specter at the Feast, which in turn is apparently an extended reference to and not-quite-a-concept-album of Shakespeare’s MacBeth. The finished piece will eventually look a lot more like stained glass than illegible scribbling (also, related: how cool is medieval stained glass?).
Also, for the record, I’m having a really hard time typing out MacBeth; I usually refer to it as the Scottish play, and am slightly tempted to look up whether or not typing or writing it out somehow calls for a proper de-cursing. #TheatreGeekForLife #SuperstitiousCrazyPersonForLife #TheatreAllMyWeirdSuperstitionsAreAllYourFaultWTH
Hmm, this makes me want to draw a bunch of Hamlet fanart now too.
